If it helps any, I'm a news and politics junkie, so usually any ideas I have come from just reading the news. The rest of any ideas I have come from talking with friends about anything. So I guess my advice is (remember, I'm no professional) to figure out what you typically write about and find outlets for that. Here's just a random suggestion. What would you do if you never had to worry about money again? I'd make huge bulletin boards of myself for the highway that had a picture of me giving a thumbs up and font that read: "You wish you were him."
